Resilience on the Nile: Egyptian islanders are fighting back against climate change by turning to recycling

Faced with rising temperatures and water levels, the residents of Egypt’s Al-Qursaya island are struggling to survive. Situated in the heart of the Nile, the island’s fishing stocks and crops are being diminished by the heat and salinity. Now its fishermen are turning to recycling to create a sustainable future.
