AN AI-POWERED
DIGITAL IMMERSION

Participants will engage digitally on a simulated social environment, interactive with AI-generated fictional characters who reveal aspects of the unfolding story.

Journalists must separate fact from social media fiction, employing skills they have learned to identify deception.

Which teams will find the real eyewitnesses and secret sources?  And which will fall victim to the online trolls?

Participants must also determine how best to use their limited reporting time and resources.  Should they dig for scoops and reach out to sources online, or should they invest in face-to-face encounters?
