Breech Asher Harani is a lens-based media artist from the Davao Region of the Philippines who creates films, video art, photographs and other forms of visual art that tackle social, cultural and environmental issues. He uses different audio-visual techniques such as documentary, experimental and animation to make simple, succinct and educational stories. He has collaborated with multiple organizations around the world to write, produce and screen video projects covering the impacts of climate change in the Philippines. He is the first Filipino JCS International Young Creatives Awardee by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and the only Filipino artist listed by Forbes Magazine’s ’30 Under 30′ for Arts in Asia in 2020.
